Here at Capital Property Management we are seeking 3 enthusiastic individuals to join our team of seasoned Property Maintenance Technicians.

We are offering a $500 sign on Bonus after 90 days of employment!

Position Details

  • Schedule: This is an immediate, full-time, mobile position. Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm, plus rotating on-call

  • Location: PDX- Candidates must have reliable transportation and basic hand tools (vehicle needs to be able to accommodate up to a 6’ step ladder)

  • Pay: $21-28 an hour DOE

    • Tech 1 $21-$24 DOE

    • Tech 2 $25-$28 DOE

  • Fuel Stipend

  • On-Call stipend

Responsibilities

  • We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and have the passion of learning and growing by using knowledge passed down from senior technicians. This position offers variety and the chance to showcase your experience in different environments, making each day unique and engaging.

  • Full Scope repairs and apartment turnover including occupied apartments.

  • Accurately completing all related paperwork in a timely manner.

  • Communicating proactively and comprehensively with residents and maintenance coordinators about the progress of on-going or delayed work orders.

  • Maintaining good public relations and interact with clients, customers, and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner.

  • On call availability, operating on a rotating schedule with other team members.

Education and/or Experience

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills

  • Must demonstrate high attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.

  • Must be legally authorized work in the U.S.

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation after conditional job offer.

  • Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle.
